Industry Specific ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, on April 21, 2026, has issued instructions for issuance, re-issuance, and extension of validity of Post Export EPCG Duty Credit Scrips. This follows representations from exporters regarding difficulties in utilizing manually/offline issued scrips.

To address these issues, DGFT has launched an online module on its portal for electronic issuance of Post Export EPCG scrips. The system enables seamless data exchange with Indian Customs Electronic Gateway, thereby facilitating easier and faster utilization of scrips by exporters. Regional Authorities (RAs) will process applications online and generate scrips electronically, which will be transmitted directly to ICEGATE.

The module covers key scenarios including closure of authorisations, retransmission or revalidation of unutilized/expired scrips, and conversion of manually issued scrips into electronic form. Exporters are required to raise online requests or service tickets with necessary documentation for processing. Any operational or system-related issues may be reported to DGFT Headquarters for resolution.
